Our Story

Eric Cherng and Xiaoting Li are the founders of TigerMinder, drawing on their rich experiences in children's education and professional childcare to address a pressing need in the parenting landscape.

Graduating from Stanford University, Eric worked for the management consultancy McKinsey & Company and held a number of senior positions at Nord Anglia Education, Trip.com, and Frog Design. Eric's pivotal moment came when he found himself navigating the challenges of parenthood as an expat in Shanghai, China, with minimal family support. This experience, coupled with the daunting task of hiring and training a local Chinese nanny, sparked his determination to revolutionize the childcare landscape.

Xiaoting is an entrepreneur and experienced early childhood educator and caretaker, and has worked extensively with numerous families in support of their children's growth and well-being. She has deep knowledge and professional certifications across a range of disciplines including children's physical development, cognitive and social-emotional progression, language acquisition, and healthy diet and nutrition. Her passion for early childhood development fueled her desire to create better home learning environments for children.
